Judy had her last chemo treatment on January 7. She is feeling better today. As usual, getting her energy back takes time. This is the 4th chemo in a row that was on schedule. White cell count was 1.5.
Still no appointment for a second opinion in Vancouver with thoracic specialist, Dr. Yee. Judy phoned Vancouver on Thursday to find out what is happening. Answer: nothing. Apparently, they have not received the images from the cancer clinic in Saskatoon. We found out that Dr. Yee is booking into February now; therefore, we won't be going to Vancouver until at least February.
Judy's next CT scan is January 15 and she should hear results on January 26. The next scheduled chemo treatment is January 28.
Just checked in on your blog now, so I guess it is today that Judy will have had her chemo, trusting that she is continuing on schedule as she has been the last while and that after a couple of days of rest she will be feeling perky again. We hope you had an enjoyable Christmas and New year, and have avoided the colds and flu so prevalent during this month. We continue to hold you in our prayers. So glad you were able to see us in Fall. Love to you both, Bob and Jan
